1) Definitely the most popular among the coconut charcoals.
I found cubic form more practicable as it gives more heat. This charcoal is good but expensive. At home I switched to Ecocha which is cheaper, and sometimes I use Titanium.

Today I'm going to be reviewing Three Kings quick light coals. Yes, I understand that many of us dislike quicklight coals and for good reason. Most of the time they smell a lot like chemicals and using them runs the risk of making your shisha smell bad, but is that all there is too it?
Three Kings QL Coals are known as one of the best brands of quicklights if you're forced to use them. And after experimenting with a couple types, I'm going to have to agree with the general idea of QL's. But why? What sets these coals apart?
Duration - TKQL's last for a surprisingly long time, almost as long as natural coals. I'd estimate 40 minutes of good smoke before they get too small to produce smoke on a HJ Alien Phunnel.
Ashing - These don't ash as much as other quicklights (I'm looking at you, Starlight). About the same amount as Coconaras and a bit more than SmoQuest. Here is a picture[1] of the ash of three large (official size) TKQL's.
Smell - QL's are famous for imparting a strong chemical taste to your shisha. The chemical smell is really just mostly gunpowder. If want to minimize the chances of a bad smell, make sure these coals are fully lit. I put the QL's onto a lit coil for about 30 seconds on each side and they were roaring and ready. After doing so, I had a surprisingly pleasant session.
Heat - These coals burn significantly cooler than Coconara's or other natural coals. I would say they burn at about the same heat as most Japanese Silver Coals. I know it might sound awful, but these coals are actually pretty good for Tangiers, which requires lower heat.
How quick? - A typical coal is fully lit in about 9 minutes without a windcover. The QL's will light in under 30 seconds over a fire. I still recommend flipping them and exposing the coating to both sides of the heat just to make sure all the gunpowder is burned off.
Overall recommendation - If you're going to get quicklights, these are an incredibly solid purchase. My local store sells them for less than natural coals and I occasionally pick them up if I'm going to be without a burner. The key thing is making sure the QL is fully lit.

Best quick lights there are. I used them for 4 years until getting a Kaloud Lotus and having to switch to naturals. Still my go-to coals though for my secondary hookah.

I have tried every kind of coal from fantasia airflow to coco nara o starbuzz to starlight and in my opinion these are the best OVERALL coal. They get started within 30 seconds and when smoked they don't have a flavor. You get long sessions with no added flavor from the coal and you don't have to wait 5-7 minutes to smoke!!! A+ product def. worth a try

If you have to resort to quick lights you should go with 3 kings, I have always been impressed however I feel like they don't last long enough, but for a quick light they are the best.

I've used several other brands of coals when my local shop was out of three kings and so far three kings are my favorite. They last long enough for a session by yourself about an hour per coal and they aren't wasteful for big sessions. My brother bought me a box for my birthday several months ago and I still have about 5 rolls. Great coals, even heating, every once in a while you gotta move em around when using bigger bowls but that's true of any coal....A++ in my opinion

Great coals, work really well and light fast. They dont ash as fast as most quick lights and they dont burn the shisha. Great product

Ive tried a lot of coals; from natural coals in a fire to other self-lighting coals. These are by far my favorite. I have never got any kind of nasty taste out of these like some natural coals will. They dont burn too quickly either.
