The Syrian Dish Base is a traditional base.  The shape of this base was made famous by Syrian manufacturers and has become quite popular in that region.  Please note that this base will not work with most KM hookah and will work best with any hookah that has a 7" downstem or less starting from the very base of the hub where the grommet fits.  This base has an opening diameter of 1 3/4" and will fit best with Syrain, Lebanese and Egyptian stems such as Magdy Zidan.
